Re: [opensuse-cloud] libguestfs not available in C:O:M
Hello Dirk. If there is already an existing package for libguestfs please add it to C:O:M now. libguestfs is more flexible then using qemu-nbd and I prefer it. If you don't want to add the package to C:O:M I'll submit our libguestfs package later this day. Christian. On 03/14/2013 06:46 AM, Dirk Müller wrote:

At the moment libguestfs is not available in C:O:M. Because I don't like the qemu-nbd stuff I suggest adding libguestfs to C:O:M to be able to use it with nova-compute.
Whats the reason for qemu-nbd being inadequate? We already have libguestfs available in SLE 11 (not visible to the outside yet), so I would prefer to not have a different package of it in C:O:M.

Mhm, I diffed the package available in Virtualization with the one from isv:B1-Systems:OpenStack:development:Grizzly and the diff isn't short. I am inclined to link the former into C:OS:M, but I'd like to get your input first. Wouldn't it make sense to merge the two, i.e. into Virtualization?
Christian.
