[opensuse-cloud] Switch Factory over to Icehouse packages?
Hi, its this time of the year again ... :-) Pretty soon there will be release candidates of Icehouse. Do we want to switch over to a Cloud:OpenStack:Master snapshot for Factory? Thanks, Dirk -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-cloud+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-cloud+owner@opensuse.org

According to [1], FeatureFreeze happens on March 4th. So after the RC1 milestone-proposed branch is created, master is open again. I'd say we could wait 2 more weeks and avoid a lot of work. If we branch to Cloud:OpenStack:Icehouse and switch all _service files to milestone-proposed (or $foo-stable-icehouse tarballs, once available) in the beginning of March, we still have enough fun left. Just my 2c. Works for me as well. I don't see where we save work though :-) Main problem at the moment is that somebody dropped python-oauth2 from Factory, which makes all the Havana packages completely pointless (aka uninstallable). But we can keep it in a broken state. Greetings, Dirk -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-cloud+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-cloud+owner@opensuse.org

maybe not "save", rather "defer" ;-)

Fix is currently in C:OS:Havana:Staging. -- With kind regards, Sascha Peilicke SUSE Linux GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, D-90409 Nuernberg, Germany GF: Jeff Hawn, Jennifer Guild, Felix Imendörffer HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-cloud+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-cloud+owner@opensuse.org
