[opensuse-buildservice] Getting an out of date pakage - mirror problem?
All, I'm trying to install log2timeline for opensuse 11.3 from the security repo. It should be v0.61 and that is what zypper is reporting. But the actual version I'm getting is v0.51. (I know the package and it is definitely the old version. Not just a bug in version printing.) I have no idea what's wrong, but I assume the package metadata is coming from one place and the package from another and they're out of sync. How can I troubleshoot/resolve this? fyi: I maintain log2timeline, so don't tell me to send a email to the maintainer! check /var/log/zypp/ logs what is done exactly by zypper.
How can I troubleshoot/resolve this?

I looked at the log file. I still think it may be a mirror issue. I didn't see anything in zypper.log that told me which mirror was in use. Regardless, from my perspective: wget http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/security/openSUSE_11.3/noarch/log2... pulls an out-of-date rpm with v0.51 binaries. ==details if you care I got the exact path (of the 11.3 security repo) out of zypper.log. Then I used wget to pull it and rpm to install it. The rpm is label v0.61 but contains v0.51 binaries. I have v0.61 from the 12.1 security repo and it has the right binaries in it, so there is something wrong with: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/security/openSUSE_11.3/noarch/log2...
