[opensuse-buildservice] Rebuilding everything?
Strange things happened overnight. When I woke up this morning and went checking my home project on the BS, I found out that every single package is being rebuilt. Even though some already finished, I still have 57 packages on 'scheduled' status, and 3 on 'blocked' (which I've never seen before on BS). Anyone knows what's happening? -- % Mauricio Teixeira (netmask) % mteixeira{a}webset{d}net <> Maceio/AL/BR % http://mteixeira.webset.net <> http://pmping.sf.net --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org

Blocked means it's waiting on one of its BuildRequires packages to be built iirc.
Anyone knows what's happening?
I guessed that Factory was updated and that this triggered a rebuild for anything with a Factory repo. -- James Ogley james@usr-local-bin.org http://usr-local-bin.org Packages for SUSE: http://usr-local-bin.org/rpms Help end poverty: http://oxfam.org.uk/imin --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org

Well, I don't have Factory on my home project... -- % Mauricio Teixeira (netmask) % mteixeira{a}webset{d}net <> Maceio/AL/BR % http://mteixeira.webset.net <> http://pmping.sf.net --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org

That puts paid to my theory then. :) -- James Ogley james@usr-local-bin.org http://usr-local-bin.org Packages for SUSE: http://usr-local-bin.org/rpms Help end poverty: http://oxfam.org.uk/imin --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org

Yes. every single package is being rebuilt..probably by mistake.
Yes, caused by me :/ sorry. I did a configuration change in the distros in a bad way (to be able to do some XEN debugging). This triggered all these packages. We will need to revert this with the next larger rebuild. sorry about that adrian -- Adrian Schroeter SUSE Linux Products GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nuernberg, Germany email: adrian@suse.de --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org

No problem, it isn't my CPU that is overloaded now *g*

Well, it also has a good side - you could delete all packages older than some days [1] and avoid several "please delete foo.rpm from the server" requests this way ;-) BTW: I still have some mydummy-*.rpm packages in home:cboltz which I can't delele myself ... ;-))) Regards, Christian Boltz [1] read: packages that are older than the date when you accidently triggered the rebuild -- PS: Ich denke, wir unterhalten uns hier lieber mit Menschen statt mit Mohnbroetchen...
