[opensuse-buildservice] kde-obs-generator Error
I try to generate a cross distribution package for Oyranos. My test with kde-obs-generator failed with following message: ERROR: Do not know which analyzer to use The Package is a configure/make/make install one, but not autotools. https://build.opensuse.org/package/show?package=oyranos-0.1.10&project=home%3Abekun The INFO file seems not to help. Can I use kde-obs-generator for that? kind regards Kai-Uwe Behrmann -- developing for colour management www.behrmann.name + www.oyranos.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org

It means it doesn't know how to analyze the tarball contents.
The Package is a configure/make/make install one, but not autotools.
And this is the reason. Hand-made Makefile stuff is next to impossible to machine process. -- Lubos Lunak openSUSE Boosters team, KDE developer l.lunak@suse.cz , l.lunak@kde.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org

How can I provide the missed infos in the INFO file? kind regards Kai-Uwe Behrmann -- developing for colour management www.behrmann.name + www.oyranos.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org

How can I provide the missed infos in the INFO file? The INFO isn't needed in all cases and it would be wrong to just add such a file because then the generator could be lead to think that the package is using autotools.

I thought of the INFO file as a fallback mechanism. e.g.: libs: libltdl.so libm.so libX11.so (Honestly, the package lookup for each distribution is the most pain for creating cross distribution packages.) kind regards Kai-Uwe Behrmann -- developing for colour management www.behrmann.name + www.oyranos.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org

Normally like you would with a known tarball type, but you'll need to pass '--analyzer none' and provide all tags. The meaning of all tags is currently only commented in utils.h in the source. -- Lubos Lunak openSUSE Boosters team, KDE developer l.lunak@suse.cz , l.lunak@kde.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org
