It is only in tumbleweed as I can see. So the factory maintainers would be a better adress to ask. However, you could add some Prefer lines to your prjconf to avoid the need of touching all the spec files. But I believe this should be solved in the distribution below instead. so better ask on opensuse-factory

In case this change is here to stay: How could I have known? How could I have found out beforehand, that such a change is imminent? Where can I read what I have to do now to make the packages build again?
