I tried "osc meta user -e pelliott11" changeing my email address in the xml. This is not working in iChain mode (actually, OBS should take over the email adress from iChain settings, the next you log in. But I heard about some problems there)

I just tried loging in again and the email address of home:pelliott11 is still pelliott@io.com
This email address no longer exists.
It needs to be pelliott@blackpatchpanel.com.
Since the software apparently will not let me change it myself, could someone please change it for me?

Not really, and we just verified that it works in general.
When you are at the login dialog, click on "Manager Account" on the left and change your settings. When you relogin into build.opensuse.org or use api.opensuse.org the email address will get updated there.
However, this get not yet transfered to hermes.
