[opensuse-buildservice] FOSDEM OBS meetup
Hi guys, same as last year, the openSUSE Build Service will be present at FOSDEM. We have several talks and some of the developers hanging around at the openSUSE booth. However, in order to discuss some current and upcomming OBS topics (like the documentation effort), I'd like to organize a little meetup for all interested parties and contributors. Please reply if you're interested and I'll try to organize something on short notice. -- Mit freundlichen Grüßen, Sascha Peilicke SUSE Linux Products GmbH

I am not sure I'll be able to join, but in case I don't please add the following topic to the list: - renaming openSUSE Build Service to Open Build Service or something similar and related tasks (rebranding, etc.) -- Best Regards / S pozdravom, Pavol RUSNAK SUSE LINUX, s.r.o openSUSE Boosters Team Lihovarska 1060/12 PGP 0xA6917144 19000 Praha 9 prusnak[at]opensuse.org Czech Republic -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org

Ok, when?
& where ? For today, I wasn't successful to get a free room. So we should just hijack one. According to the schedule, the Crossdesktop room is free 'till 10:15. So let's just meet at the openSUSE booth before 10 and then we'll see. -- Mit freundlichen Grüßen, Sascha Peilicke SUSE Linux Products GmbH

Did it happen? Some interesting output? I met up with the novomok (was that right?) folks at the booth at the time and discussed their work on an OBS backend worker pool. Others than that I met Jan-Simon after my talk. Seems like the (contributed) LDAP feature needs some more testing to improve its performance. -- Mit freundlichen Grüßen, Sascha Peilicke http://saschpe.wordpress.com

There was a commit from Vivian which fixed this (if I understood the comment correctly). bye adrian
