what is /public? I have never heard about it, I can't access it on api.opensuse.org (it gives me a stack trace). Is it something that I should know about? Is it something that should be documented at https://api.opensuse.org/apidocs/ ?

As you can see from the template file, it is the public API for inter build service connect.
