[opensuse-buildservice] multiple login requirement

Hi, problem is the following: 1) log into BS (via web) 2) select project/package 3a) [Edit] some file -> everything is OK 3b) [Download] the same file -> asks for password [Edit] queries build.opensuse.org, [Download] queries api.opensuse.org. Is it possible to move the download link to build? Having to enter login multiple times for one site is really annoying (not mentioning having to enter it on en.opensuse.org) Best regards Petr --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org

delete your ichain cookies. thats nothing under our control. and you can logon via build.opensuse.org too. you dont have to go to the wiki. darix -- openSUSE - SUSE Linux is my linux openSUSE is good for you www.opensuse.org --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org

I'm not sure I understand - I use browser-session cookies only (i.e. browser erases them after closing it). The problem is, that [Edit] and [Download] links in the package pages point to different servers ("build." and "api.").

I know, yet I think, that one login per domain .opensuse.org should be enough. All the servers use one authentication provider anyway. We could proxy the data through build.o.o. But it is just additionaly load. Most users are not affected by this, since they anyway use the password cache in their browsers, so this had no high priority so far. bye adrian -- Adrian Schroeter SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) email: adrian@suse.de --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org
