Add CentOS Stream 9 to the openSUSE Build Service?
Hey, CentOS Stream 9 is now "released" and a formal announcement will come any day now. Can we get CentOS Stream 9 added to OBS now? I've attached project meta and project configuration that can be used for this, tested locally on my system. Thanks in advance and best regards! -- 真実はいつも一つ!/ Always, there's only one truth!

thanks, I added it under the name CentOS:CentOS-9:Stream I created also an EPEL repo, but our basic tooling in openSUSE:Tools is not yet building sucessfull. I want to fix that first before adding it to the default distros. -- Adrian Schroeter <adrian@suse.de> Build Infrastructure Project Manager SUSE Software Solutions Germany GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nuernberg, Germany (HRB 247165, AG München), Geschäftsführer: Felix Imendörffer

Can I take the opportunity to ask what the state is for the CentOS Stream 8 repositories? On https://build.opensuse.org/project/show/CentOS:CentOS-8:Stream the appstream/devel/extras/powertools repos are still marked with "error" symbols, resulting in packages actually being pulled from non-stream CentOS via the "standard" repository from CentOS:CentOS-8 that is included. thanks, Georg -- Jülich Centre for Neutron Science JCNS at Heinz Maier-Leibnitz Zentrum MLZ Forschungszentrum Jülich GmbH Lichtenbergstraße 1 85747 Garching GERMANY Telefon: +49 - 89 158860 731 Telefax: +49 - 89 158860 799 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Forschungszentrum Juelich GmbH 52425 Juelich Sitz der Gesellschaft: Juelich Eingetragen im Handelsregister des Amtsgerichts Dueren Nr. they are not supposed to be building itself, so do not get confused by the states visible in webui. (I disabled build there now explicit to avoid confusion in future). These repos are just optional additional resources which can be used in your builds. -- Adrian Schroeter <adrian@suse.de> Build Infrastructure Project Manager SUSE Software Solutions Germany GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nuernberg, Germany (HRB 247165, AG München), Geschäftsführer: Felix Imendörffer

Thank you! Also, is there a chance to get the EPEL-Next repositories as a build base, which are the EPELs that go together with the CentOS Stream (for 8 and 9, see https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/next/). best, Georg -- Jülich Centre for Neutron Science JCNS at Heinz Maier-Leibnitz Zentrum MLZ Forschungszentrum Jülich GmbH Lichtenbergstraße 1 85747 Garching GERMANY Telefon: +49 - 89 158860 731 Telefax: +49 - 89 158860 799 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Forschungszentrum Juelich GmbH 52425 Juelich Sitz der Gesellschaft: Juelich Eingetragen im Handelsregister des Amtsgerichts Dueren Nr. Actually, yes, we need this as an overlay to the base EPEL repo for CentOS Stream: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/epel/epel-about-next/ So for CentOS Stream, you need both regular EPEL and EPEL Next. -- 真実はいつも一つ!/ Always, there's only one truth!
