[opensuse-buildservice] Baselibs limited to arch
Hi, in some baselibs.conf, one can for example find: tcpd arch ppc package tcpd-devel This causes tcpd-devel.ppc to be made available as tcpd-devel-32bit.ppc64. The question would be, why would one want to limit tcpd-devel to ppc? thanks, Jan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org

we only add the 32bit devel packages on request and try to limit them as much as possible. darix -- openSUSE - SUSE Linux is my linux openSUSE is good for you www.opensuse.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org

Shouldn't this be decided by the _package_ maintainer? Ciao, Marcus -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org

sure. but from what i saw ... most of them got added on request by customer or because some other -32bit devel package required them. darix -- openSUSE - SUSE Linux is my linux openSUSE is good for you www.opensuse.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org

Only our ppc folks had the strange idea to insist on 32bit devel packages. Everybody else uses "build" to build in a 32bit environment.
