[opensuse-buildservice] Software containing patented codecs
Hi, I was under the impression that the build service was not to be used for patent encumbered software... is this not the case? I'm seeing: ffmpeg (project home:enzokiel) mythtv (project home:zCougar) What are the policies about this? (If this software is allowed... maybe the packman packages should also be added?) Wade

Right. We need to delete tar-balls that do not conform to opensuse policies. Please also notify the contributors of this, so that they can rescue their spec files and patches. sorry, Jw. -- o \ Juergen Weigert paint it green! __/ _=======.=======_ <V> | jw@suse.de wide open suse_/ _---|____________\/ \ | 0911 74053-508 (tm)__/ (____/ /\ (/) | __________________________/ _/ \_ vim:set sw=2 wm=8 SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nuernberg) "Novell is committed to creating a work environment that embraces diversity." --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org

There is somewhere a dvbcut package in the BS. Dvbcut includes a copy of libffmpeg.
