Hello, recently a slew of question marks started appearing in OBS, next to build status, and in searching for the reason, i came upon the original bug report and the PR that introduced the question marks: https://github.com/openSUSE/open-build-service/issues/672 https://github.com/openSUSE/open-build-service/pull/2075 The feature seems appropriate for the small "build results" table on the overview, but not so much for monitor. The gist of my argument is that the icons take up space ;) On projects with many repositories, monitor pages are already absurdly wide. These icons are making it significantly wider, while not adding much in the way of information: For one, I don't need to see an explanation for each and every "succeeded". And for two, this is precisely the only page that has a dedicated Legend section. Furthermore, you only need to see the help text very rarely. As you get more proficient with the buildservice, you will know what the states mean. (I would actually suggest replacing the words with icons on the monitor page. At the moment, the width of the page is defined by the header texts (repo names, architecture names), but maybe something could be done about that as well? Writing it vertically, perhaps?) In conclusion, can we please remove the question marks from the monitor page? I'll be happy to send a PR for this. regards m.
