I have upgraded my OBS running openSUSE Leap 15.3 to 15.5, and OBS using the https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/OBS:/Server:/2.10/15.5/ repository. After rebooting, then OBS only wants to display the /srv/www/obs/overview/index.html file. I’m confused how to get apache2 configured to display OBS again. Please advise. Best regards, George (gk4)

I haven't done any OBS setup myself, but I would suggest to look for any "*.rpmsave" or "*.rpmnew" files. Most likely you've touched some files, which will not be overridden by the upgrade, or which cannot be merged, hence they got moved.

HTH, cheers. l8er manfred
The only file I see backed up by RPM is options.yml. My file has LDAP configuration for login. I dont think that would impact the OBS GUI.
Check PassengerRuby in /etc/apache2/conf.d/mod_passenger.conf, it needs to point at the correct version of the ruby interpreter. -- Andreas Schwab, schwab@linux-m68k.org GPG Key fingerprint = 7578 EB47 D4E5 4D69 2510 2552 DF73 E780 A9DA AEC1 "And now for something completely different."

That file is a config file of rubygem-passenger-apache2, shouldn't the upgrade have created a mod_passenger.conf.rpmnew then? Cheers. l8er manfred

Only if the upgrade modified the file. -- Andreas Schwab, schwab@linux-m68k.org GPG Key fingerprint = 7578 EB47 D4E5 4D69 2510 2552 DF73 E780 A9DA AEC1 "And now for something completely different."
/etc/apache2/conf.d/mod_passenger.conf is explicitly using ruby2.5 Changing it to 2.7 did no help. Apache2 is still serving /srv/www/obs/overview/index.html instead of the OBS UI.
Issue RESOLVED. rm -f /srv/www/obs/api/public/index.html # test file I created to test Apache. zypper ar https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/OBS:/Server:/2.10/15.5/ OBS zypper refresh zypper install -t pattern OBS_Server /usr/lib/obs/server/setup-appliance.sh --non-interactive shutdown -r now
