[opensuse-buildservice] Software-Announcement
Hello, I am new to this list and wonder if this is a good place to announce a new software project on sourceforge, so that it may become an openSuSE package? Best regards Harald -- "Wouldn't the sentence 'I want to put a hyphen between the words Fish and And and And and Chips in my Fish-And-Chips sign' have been clearer if quotation marks had been placed before Fish, and between Fish and and, and and and And, and And and and, and and and And, and And and and, and and and Chips, as well as after Chips?" -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org

This is a great place to start if you want to package it in OBS. openSUSE Build Service. A great start to getting it included in openSUSE. The long and short, if its not in OBS it doesn't have a chance to get into openSUSE. Packaging and building something in there is easy. Just create an account at build.opensuse.org, add 11.3 repo, upload your tarball and a spec file (I'm sure someone could help with this if needed) and you are 90% of the way to getting it at least available to openSUSE people. Cheers, Stephen PS. You can also package for other distros there -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org
