[opensuse-buildservice] Private OBS cannot find boo.org's lapack
I have a private OBS installation in which I'm attempting to build a customized version of numpy. It builds fine in several distros (CentOS and RHEL), but for openSUSE 12.1 it says it cannot find lapack-devel and blas-devel: nothing provides blas-devel, nothing provides lapack-devel Thing is, openSUSE_12.1/standard in b.o.o does contain the package, so I'm stumped. I thought it might be a broken cache or something, so I tried with obs_admin --rescan-repository, but it seems to be a no-op for openSUSE.org:openSUSE:12.1: # obs_admin --rescan-repository openSUSE:12.1 standard i586 Use of uninitialized value in concatenation (.) or string at /usr/lib/obs/server/BSConfig.pm line 179. Any ideas? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

If your server is out of sync, you need to use obs_admin --check-project for the remote project -- Adrian Schroeter SUSE Linux Products GmbH email: adrian@suse.de -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

That doesn't seem to be true, the "blas/lapack-devel" packages don't exist in openSUSE 12.1. They got added in 2012-03-14. Weird... if you go to obs search, and search for lapack, you do get an entry for 12.1[0]. But you are right, though, upon closer inspection there's no -devel subpackage for 12.1 (and presumably older versions). So I tried buildrequiring just lapack and blas... and it works! :D Thanks [0] https://build.opensuse.org/package/show?package=lapack&project=openSUSE%3A12.1 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org
