[opensuse-buildservice] devel:languages:python
I'm wondering what's up with devel:languages:python? Are we considered to develop python packages there? Everthing is disabled. I tried to enable opensuse_Factory for pyxml, but it stays disabled. Must I branch my pyxml package nevertheless? -- Karl Eichwalder R&D / Documentation SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nuernberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org

Last time i checked, most packages are disabled by their own defaults, which happened in the OBS migration. Most of them also stay disabled, because nobody cared to enable them, because they already exist and build in Factory. Last time i checked, i could easily enable building of any package i wanted. If you can't do that, then it is some kind of bug. Also it appears to be a bug on your end, because i see factory as enabled in pyxml ;) OBS can be slow at times. Cut it some slack. regards m. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org

# osc maintainer -v openSUSE:Factory pyxml tells me, yes.
Everthing is disabled. I tried to enable opensuse_Factory for pyxml, but it stays disabled.
It is currently enabled for factory. Yet another case why we need the repository status/dirty reporting ....
Must I branch my pyxml package nevertheless?
no, as someone who has write access to the devel package this is not needed. (But can be done optionally, in case you want to test elsewhere first) -- Adrian Schroeter SUSE Linux Products GmbH email: adrian@suse.de -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org
