[opensuse-buildservice] Adding a package using osc
I want to add a package to project. How does it work? What's wrong with this procedure: 1. osc editmeta home\:keichwa and add '<package name="automake" />' 2. Click http://build.opensuse.org/package/show?package=automake&project=home%3Akeichwa and it complains Errorcode: 404 Message: <pre>/bs/projects/home:keichwa.pkg/automake.xml: No such file or directory</pre> -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- cut here -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- If I try: osc editmeta home\:keichwa automake ==> error getting meta for project 'home:keichwa' package 'automake' HTTP Error 404: Not Found -- Karl Eichwalder R&D / Documentation SUSE Linux Products GmbH Key fingerprint = B2A3 AF2F CFC8 40B1 67EA 475A 5903 A21B 06EB 882E --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice-unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice-help@opensuse.org

That doesn't work -- adding the xml to the project meta isn't effective. It works as you showed below (osc editmeta prjname pacname).
If I try:
osc editmeta home\:keichwa automake ==> error getting meta for project 'home:keichwa' package 'automake' HTTP Error 404: Not Found
Your osc package is outdated. That is a bug which was introduced recently, and fixed meanwhile. Regards, Peter -- SUSE LINUX Products GmbH Thought is limitation. Research & Development Free your mind.

Thanks! After updating osc it works as expected. -- Karl Eichwalder R&D / Documentation SUSE Linux Products GmbH Key fingerprint = B2A3 AF2F CFC8 40B1 67EA 475A 5903 A21B 06EB 882E --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice-unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice-help@opensuse.org
