[opensuse-buildservice] Can't log in.
Is something wrong with the obs web site login authentication? It says my password is invalid and provides a link to reset it (on *novell.com not *opensuse.org) https://secure-www.novell.com/selfreg/jsp/forgotPassword.jsp I use the link, it accepts my user name and my answer to my security question, and claims to have successfully reset the password. Then I still can't log in to build.opensuse.org with either the old or new passwords. Also at the end of the reset password process the last continue button on the "Success" is a broken link. -- bkw -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

Same here as well. It looks like it's trying to use iChain rather than Access Manager, so I'm wondering if the old iChain servers were decommissioned today. No, we switched away from iChain/Access Manager to LDAP a couple of months ago. Seems the ldap server was unreachabe for some time, I see some "[ldap_simple_bind_s() to check user credentials failed] Server is unavailable]" errors in the log. It currently works again, so somebody fixed the ldap server. Good to know. I /thought/ the switch had been done, but the URL made me think it was still pointing to iChain because it included the "ICSLogin" element. I think most of the sites that do the login via NAM use an 'nidp' login instead.

Great, thanks for the update. :) Jim -- Jim Henderson Please keep on-topic replies on the list so everyone benefits -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

the web interface seems to work, but not if I try to execute commands via osc, so I guess, api.opensuse.org is not working yet :( Nico -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

hmm, yes, after playing around a bit, it works again Problem was that I tried to get keyring access to work by enabling keyring in oscrc and installing python-keyring from devel:languages:python. After deleting the old api section and letting osc store the new credentials in kwallet, it works. I was expecting a dialogue asking for the new password to store if no credentials are stored in kwallet yet ;) Nico -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org
