[opensuse-buildservice] what about these auto delete requests

Hi, a few weeks ago while I was on vacation I've got dozens of delete requests like this one https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/188119 They all were auto accepted only a few days later when I was still on vacation. Moreover I got no emails about these requests. No chance for me to take any action. Just noticed them randomly. Also I don't understand why (almost) nothing seems to be deleted at all allthough these requests are in state accepted. So this request history seems to be useless. How can I find out what actually happened to my projects for real. Or is it still possible that my repos will be removed somewhen in future? BTW I also got repeated delete requests which I declined already some months ago. This is really annoying. cu, Rudi -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

Known issue I would say. Certain request types are not delievered by email, but there is no urge to have it fixed. https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=739335

They edit the prjmeta/pkgmeta, not a particular package. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

Ah, I remember. So then please somebody should disable auto delete requests until this is fixeed or at least give us some months time before auto-accepting them.

Yes, but the repos they wanted to delete are still building. So what for I've got these delete requests? cu, Rudi -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

I guess they are just completely broken. It still stands that we need to clean up, so I guess we will have to implement a mail notification for these requests independent of hermes. Even if hermes would send out notifications, it's not guaranteed that people are subscribed to the email ;( Greetings, Stephan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

How exactly they could be broken? cu, Rudi -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

The request you mentioned as an example was for repos which build against a "deleted" repository. That means a repository which got somewhere else. Such a configuration will never build until one is fixing the path list of that repository. And we create delete requests from time to time to avoid to keep these not building rpms forever. -- Adrian Schroeter email: adrian@suse.de SUSE LINUX GmbH, GF: Jeff Hawn, Jennifer Guild, Felix Imendörffer, HRB 21284 (AG Nürnberg) Maxfeldstraße 5 90409 Nürnberg Germany -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org
