[opensuse-buildservice] debian packages pbuilder/ cowbuilder xen
Hello all, currently i try to build opensync and its plugins using oSBS. i notice some problems with building Debian etch/ubuntu Dapper packages that could be caused by the way how and which packages are preinstalled. My first question did you notice pbuilder and why choose you not to use it ? Currently i build opensync svn packages for Debian sid, etch, sarge and ubuntu dapper using a own solution based on cowbuilder. http://sourceforge.net/projects/crusty Matthias

Yes, the build service should try to run all postinstall scripts of the preinstalled package. It just causes lots of errors. They can safely be ignored, all the packages get re-installed afterwards. It's just done to get dpkg working.

Yes, I looked at pbuilder, but couldn't use it. I don't remember the exact reasons, though.
