Specifically, I'm wondering about how one would specify a particular tag/branch. With SVN, it's just in the URL, IIRC. But how do you specify the branch when pulling from a git repo?

The packaged .service file should contain all this informations. The webui is showing it on mouse-over (not very good UI yet).
