---------- Forwarded message ----------
State of submit-request #132461 was changed by factory-auto: review -> declined
Comment: 'X11:RemoteDesktop:x2go' is not a valid devel project of openSUSE:Factory - please pick one of the existent
Source project: X11:RemoteDesktop:x2go package: nx-libs revision: 8 Target: project: openSUSE:Factory package: nx-libs
Just how is X11:RemoteDesktop:x2go not a valid devel project for a to-be package? (Command was `osc sr openSUSE:Factory --no-cleanup` from within nx-libs checkout; using osc-0.134.50.git.1340786037-320.2.noarch on 12.1) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

IIUC, coolo's 'factory-auto' scripts has a list of devel projects it wants to get packages from. And X11:RemoteDesktop:x2go is likely not on that list yet (the goal is to keep the number of devel projects low; there has been discussion already that a 'newcomer' has a hard time finding a project to submit his work to. Increasing the count won't help that... oh, of course: publishing the list would.. but that was also discussed) Dominique -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

It has no list, it just checks if there is another package in factory with that devel project to avoid fragementation. Greetings, Stephan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

The error message should be augmented to include exactly this reason. """Package is rejected because it is the first to come from this certain develprj, which might be an indicator for fragmentation that we in turn prefer to avoid.""" -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org
