[opensuse-buildservice] Is it possible to get a {compressed} list of all packages on the opensuse build service ?
Hello Is it possible to get a {compressed} list of all packages on the opensuse build service ? Can all the packages across openSUSE Build Service be listed. I know this is a long..long list [34,552 project entries] [ 249,332... packages] and it would change over time as packages are added/removed. - Can gzip 9 or similar be use to compress the list. - Where would the {compressed} listing be located ? - Does the build service already produce a list with this content ? Thanks Glenn Say one line per package. formatted like {Project name} package name example: {home:awk2007:scm} dracut {Kernel:stable} kernel-desktop {Kernel:stable} kernel-vanilla .. .. {openSUSE:Factory} lvm2 {openSUSE:Factory} screen -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

Hello, The reason I ask is because I am looking for a specific kernel-vanilla version 3.14 to apply a specific patch to. Using a plain text file grep for kernel-vanilla package in existing project|package and get the kernel-vanilla.spec file using osc then extract the version I'm looking for. The gui search page for kernel-vanilla returns 12 pages * about 19 on each page. I cannot do version search at all. This is why Im asking about the topic. --Glenn -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

rpm -qi tells you the project a package was built in. There is also the osc search command. If I understand you correctly, this is basically [1]. Marcus [1] http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-packaging/2014-06/msg00042.html -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org
