[opensuse-buildservice] Modules Error during build

This happens when you trigger somehow the loading of kernel modules. In this case you're trying to reach the network and the kernel tries to load some network module I guess. You need to change the xsltprocs to verify against some xsl you bring yourself, you can't download anything from build jobs. that is the real error of your build: you have to build require the docbook stylesheets. the build VMs have no external networks so it cant load them from the net. if you buildrequire the dokbook stylesheet package the urls will be mapped to local paths and it can generate the documenation. hth darix -- openSUSE - SUSE Linux is my linux openSUSE is good for you www.opensuse.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org

It looks to me that something in your build env triggers the load of kernel modules. This should never be the case, because a build should never depend on the running kernel (but it can depend on installed kernel sources). (It could be also a broken build36, but current running builds on it look good). bye adrian -- Adrian Schroeter SUSE Linux Products GmbH email: adrian@suse.de -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org

Thanks, we will give that a try. I never had such a problem, so I wasn't aware our build could even try to reach the outer world. (Thanks also to Stephan & Adrian!)
