[opensuse-buildservice] limit of number of packages in repo?

Hi again! Still syncing *a lot* of R packages from CRAN (cran.r-project.org) to OBS. It seems there is a limit of 10000 packages in a (home)-repo? At least I get "quota exceeded" errors. Or is it some other limit I'm hitting? And can anything be done about it? All in all right now there are 16500 packages in CRAN. :-) Any help appreciated! I can increase the limit, but maybe we should do this in some official place instead. You do not want to upload this to devel:languages:R:devel ? -- Adrian Schroeter <adrian@suse.de> Build Infrastructure Project Manager SUSE Software Solutions Germany GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nuernberg, Germany (HRB 247165, AG München), Geschäftsführer: Felix Imendörffer -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

The plan was to ask for an official place in a few days, after some remaining quirks are removed. May be d:l:R:CRANrpm ? None of all these packages shall go to to factory, because the licences used in CRAN. They seem to have a different list of license strings and I don`t want to mess around with these. There will be a translator for these strings, where easily possible. Let's see how this will work out. Would be great, if you increased the limit for home:dsteuer, so I can test with the complete data set. Nevertheless, if you prefer me to change to d:l:R:*, I can do so, as the scripts work "well enough" (tm) now. Thank you! well, no need to ask. You can create sub projects yourself ;)

I do not really want to increase limits for home projects, better create a more official one first. -- Adrian Schroeter <adrian@suse.de> Build Infrastructure Project Manager SUSE Software Solutions Germany GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nuernberg, Germany (HRB 247165, AG München), Geschäftsführer: Felix Imendörffer -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

Lukas Krause in Cc:, cause he or some script in the meantime suspended my account :-) Am Wed, 21 Oct 2020 09:32:01 +0200 schrieb Adrian Schröter <adrian@suse.de>:

Yes, but I want to be polite, so you know where these 10k+ packages will be created :-)

Ok, will take that route. Thx for clarification! Detlef -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org
