* Downtime of several services build service over the weekend, mostly cause by hardware errors. - software.opensuse.org got moved to other server, hardware gets fixed by team of Thomas Siedentopf - build/api.o.o died as well most likely to hardware error, needs to get replaced soon. - New scheduler deployed on friday was buggy, we learn not to deploy larger changes on fridays anymore ;) New hardware should arrive at 1st November at latest, hopefully earlier. * Visit of Martin Kudlvasr and Jan Matejek from Prag are visit Nuernberg this week to join the build service team. - Martin works on improving the statistic module data update, to make it performant. So we can activate it again. - Jan will start with bug fixing to get into the service. He is skilled with python, but learns ruby and rails for now. * Thomas Scholtz imported new icons for the flags and did some fine tuning. This is not yet deployed. * Markus Rueckert finished user directory technically, waits for final texts. * Michael separated dispatcher and publisher from scheduler to improve performance and reliability (see his mail for details). * Robert Lihm joined Build Service team as well as web designer and usability expert. He is about to start on changing the web theme to common openSUSE theme.
