[opensuse-buildservice] ifconfig missing from VM builds in oS:Factory
Since net-tools-deprecated has been split off of net-tools there is no ifconfig available in VM builds any more. This can cause the loopback device end up unconfigured (if the initrd didn't take care of it) and is known to break the build of python on armv7l. So there would need to be a VMinstall of either net-tools-deprecated or iproute2 (+ libxtables10) in the oS:Factory prjconf (the build script uses /sbin/ip if it can find it). VMInstall is the wrong place IMO. rpm-build requires the build essentials and that contains currently net-tools. From what you say it should be changed to require iproute2 instead. But there is a thread on opensuse-factory about it, which is related so lnussel is currently looking into this anyway. The build script uses ifconfig/ip only if $RUNNING_IN_VM.
