rpm macros in Fedora_Core_5
Is it possible that some RPM-macros are missing in Fedora_Core_5? Up to now I came across _jvmdir _jvmjardir ... I think they should be there since they are used throughout the jpackage project which [I think] uses a lot Fedora for a build system -- I could be wrong though. We don't define such macros, they come from the distribution's rpm package. If some macros are missing Fedora's rpm package is broken... Cheers, Michael. -- Michael Schroeder mls@suse.de main(_){while(_=~getchar())putchar(~_-1/(~(_|32)/13*2-11)*13);}

hm, but we could define them in the jpackage project ? -- Adrian Schroeter SUSE Linux Products GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nuernberg, Germany email: adrian@suse.de

Sure. But the src rpms won't build in the distributions. See the thread about %defined. Cheers, Michael. -- Michael Schroeder mls@suse.de main(_){while(_=~getchar())putchar(~_-1/(~(_|32)/13*2-11)*13);}

It still does not work then unless the project owner provides his own rpm package. Robert -- Robert Schiele Tel.: +49-621-181-2214 Dipl.-Wirtsch.informatiker mailto:rschiele@uni-mannheim.de "Quidquid latine dictum sit, altum sonatur."

No, the buildservice supports project specific macros. They are part of the project configuration. At the moment, you have to send us mail if you want to configure them, though. Cheers, Michael. -- Michael Schroeder mls@suse.de main(_){while(_=~getchar())putchar(~_-1/(~(_|32)/13*2-11)*13);}
