[opensuse-buildservice] mozilla:yasm - Broken signatures
I was trying to update firefox on an old 11.1 installation. I found that the mozilla project in OBS contains 11.1, so I set it up and started updating. The "yasm" in that project is failing to install (only yasm), complaining about bad signatures. I did a full refresh to make sure I had the latest GPG keys (I had some expired ones), and it's still broken. Can someone trigger a rebuild please? (it might get fixed with a rebuild). -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

I'm also wondering why it wanted to install it. It sounds more like a build-time dependency, not a run-time one. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

It is a build dependency only. The packages never should have been published in the repo but somehow they leaked a year ago. But I've never heard that it needed as a runtime dependency. Could you check why it would be needed? For the availability in the repo there is AFAIK no _easy_ way to remove the packages. I would need to wipe binaries which would trigger the whole project to be rebuilt (and I don't want to do that now). I expect that it's possible to avoid the update of that package and it's not a blocking issue for you? I did that, and FF works fine. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

I think it may have been because I updated everything in the repo. I did try manually updating a few times, but I'm not sure those times it failed because of yasm (I was having GPG key issues too). The last time I'm positive I updated everything, so I'll blame that.
