[opensuse-buildservice] How do you make a patch file for use with osc?
Hi, can anyone point me to information on how to make a patch file for use with osc. Regards Dave P -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org
With i will say , use the colaborate (submit req feature) but with osc : rdiff or perhaps you mean http://en.opensuse.org/Build_Service/Concepts/Devel_Project at least , you spoke perhaps about a patch for the source you will build and so it is in the spec file 2009/7/17 Dave Plater <dave.plater@yahoo.co.uk>:

I needed to make a patch that works with build service for submit purpose. It seems I was doing the right thing to create the patch but I was using diff -r and not diff -urN, the patch format now looks correct, I will now test it with osc locally.
