[opensuse-buildservice] About creating a project
Hello, Some weeks ago I asked to this list about somebody building DKIM-milter package for postfix, because I needed it and a rpm for it was nice. Nobody replied me so I began to work in it. Then I got it and is working in my server (This mail is signed with it). It gets only two minor warnings when scanning the x86_64 rpm with rpmlint. It creates an init.d service and even is configurable with yast /etc/sysconfig editor. I would like to contribute with it to opensuse buildservice. I have a nowell account (user gbvalor) . My question is if the project sholud be in a generic home:gbvalor or it is better in a network:mail:utilities (or something like that) You can check the src.rpm I built in my system here http://www.oxixares.com/pub/testing/dkim-milter-2.5.0-1.src.rpm Guillemo -- Guillermo Ballester Valor gbv@oxixares.com http://www.oxixares.com/~gbv Ogijares, Granada - SPAIN --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org

If you add it to the buildservice it would be nice if you would add openSUSE 10.1 as a target. Thanks, Matthias -- Matthias Bach www.marix.org "Was nicht mit einer gewissen Unsicherheit behaftet ist, kann unmöglich die Wahrheit sein." - Richard P. Feynman

It is done now!. Finally I built for suse 10.1. But note that you will need postfix 2.4.x . I think there is a postfix24 package in builservice. Read the 'README.opensuse_postfix' file in docdir. As a post install task, the package generates a {private, public} key pair in '/etc/mail/dkim' directory for the selector you choose. You can use yast->system->/etc/configsys editor -> network -> mail -> dkim-milter to set your options. Have fun! Guillermo
Thanks, Matthias

Thank you, that's the one I am already using anyways.

Ah, what more service can one expect. I already looking forward to testing it :)
Have fun!
I will, Thanks, Matthias --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org

You can create the package home:gbvalor, make sure it builds on the distros you want to build for and afterwards ask network:mail:utilities maintainers to add it. Finally I built it in buildserver, 'home: gbvalor' project. After check the list of projects I think it would better to add it to 'server:mail' ¿how can I ask the mantainers to add it? Guillermo.
