[opensuse-buildservice] BuildRequire --nodeps --no-recommends
Hi, Is it possible to BuildRequire a package without installing all it's dependencies? I just need some headers from octave package and don't want to have hundreds of texlive packages etc. cu, Rudi -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

So, perhaps octave should be split into some subpackages of which you BuildRequire only the ones that won't pull in texlive. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

That suggests that the package needs to be split to reduce dependencies. Consider filing a bug for it.
