m2crypto isn't actually hard required. built in python ssl will work too but it's insecure. IOW without m2crypto communication with obs is equivalent to clear text then. cu Ludwig -- (o_ Ludwig Nussel //\ V_/_ http://www.suse.de/ SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nuernberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org

m2crypto is available in centos 5.5. Problem is that osc need at least version 0.19 but available version is 0.16 only(see output from yum info bellow). I have build the version 0.19.1 using package from OpenSuse11.2 and spec file from RHEL. You can find it under home:dibo2010:buildservice. yum info m2crypto Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, priorities Excluding Packages from HP EMEA Tools Repository for Redhat (5.2 - x86_64 - Extras) Finished 178 packages excluded due to repository priority protections Installed Packages Name : m2crypto Arch : x86_64 Version : 0.16 Release : 6.el5.6 Size : 1.7 M Repo : installed Summary : Support for using OpenSSL in python scripts URL : http://wiki.osafoundation.org/bin/view/Projects/MeTooCrypto License : BSDish Description: This package allows you to call OpenSSL functions from python scripts. Dibo and Ludwig, Thanks for your response, very helpful! I see now I was using this page wrong http://software.opensuse.org/search I didn't include searching of home projects which would have lead me to your m2crypto package. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org
