Looked once again into that case - the issue is kinda stupid. on x86_64, mariadb is pulled in by akonadi, pulled in by kdepim and pim is a recommended package

on ppc, pim does not build, so this recommended package is being skipped. As a consequence, also akonadi and thus mariadb are being ignored

We will change the template for the ring2 test dvd template and add mariadb explicitly to the disk images. That should then solve this issue.

Thank you Dominique for the update, What is the "template" you are referring to ? is it accessible via the OBS webui ?
