[opensuse-buildservice] Where can I find CMake 2.4.7 for all distro supported by buildservice ??
I have some packages that needs cmake 2.4.7 ... but I cannot find it for all distribution (in particular, Fedora, Mandriva and CentOS) in the repositories for aggregate it. Firstly, I decided to create a cmake package in my repositories ... but there are so many users that re-create cmake packages... and I'm wondering if there is an easy centralized way for aggreate it in such way that is automatically available on all distro supported. or better build against that project instead of linking. But I think cmake does not compile there for all plattforms. However, we would be happy to add support for further plattforms in case you can build them :) -- Adrian Schroeter SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) email: adrian@suse.de --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org

I linked the cmake project contained in openSuse:10.3 ... and I found and error at line 20 of cmake.spec that block compiling it on CentOS_5 and RHEL_5. In details, this line give error on above platforms: %if %suse_version > 1020 I think it should substitute with the more portable version documented at http://en.opensuse.org/Build_Service/cross_distribution_package_how_to#Detec... The BuildRequires field for CentOS_5 and RHEL_5 can be the same and equal to: BuildRequires: expat-devel curl-devel expat gcc-c++ libstdc++-devel ncurses-devel Thanks, Gianluca --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org

Do you have cmake package that builds on RHEL (and still builds on openSUSE)? It would be great to build such tools in one place (devel:tools:scm) for as many distributions as possible, to avoid having to rebuild in other projects.
