[opensuse-buildservice] Debian 6.0 is there ... and 4.0 away

Debian:6.0 project exists now and can be used to build for that target. The openSUSE:Tools project is also building "osc" and "build" now for this distribution. Thanks go to Carsten Höger from open-exchange who debugged the configuration. The :NonFree part is not yet imported. I will do so on request. Debian:Etch has been moved to DISCONTINUED:Debian:4.0 project. have fun adrian -- Adrian Schroeter SUSE Linux Products GmbH email: adrian@suse.de

Could you fix the following globally? "have choice for java6-sdk: default-jdk openjdk-6-jdk" my guess is, that default-jdk pulls openjdk-6-jdk anyway... also, when pulling "java6-sdk", the following error occurs setting up the system: installing openjdk-6-jre-headless dpkg: openjdk-6-jre-headless: dependency problems, but configuring anyway as you requested: openjdk-6-jre-headless depends on ca-certificates-java; however: Package ca-certificates-java is not installed. /var/lib/dpkg/info/openjdk-6-jre-headless.postinst: 85: mountpoint: not found the java command requires a mounted proc fs (/proc). dpkg: error processing openjdk-6-jre-headless (--install): subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 Errors were encountered while processing: openjdk-6-jre-headless exit ... https://build.opensuse.org/package/live_build_log?arch=x86_64&package=scalar... I am not aware of a /proc mount issue. Would be cool, if someone could debug the reason for that failure. bye adrian -- Adrian Schroeter SUSE Linux Products GmbH email: adrian@suse.de

attached is the mail I send regarding the same issue with Ubuntu 10.04 - I think, we discussed in the chat and you (?) solved it then - the fix is probably in the Ubuntu 10.04 project config (hopefully there's a comment on it ;) ) Nico

Hm, try again ... it seems there were two dependency cycles of in ubuntu java packages .... If this is the same case for Debian:6.0 it may be solved now. -- Adrian Schroeter SUSE Linux Products GmbH email: adrian@suse.de

The Problem is not thatcher the mountpoint /proc is missing, it,s thatcher the command mountpoint is missing. This can be worked arround by pre-installing the missing package in the prjconf.
This seems to be a missing dependency in the debian java package causing this behaviour.

it works now, thank you very much I needed to manually trigger rebuild though (shouldn't the project automatically get rebuild if the config changes?) Nico
