Thanks muchly, I followed the Help links at the bottom, which goe to http://openbuildservice.org/, which looks all corporate but has not much useful content under its large documentation tab. A link to the build service portal would be advisable. I'm stuck on two snags: The source tar file contains symlinks, but OBS barfs on it. All content of the tar file has relative paths. What's the workaround here? The build fails with # The DESTDIR Has To Be Exactly /usr/src/packages/BUILD/debian/<nameOfPackage> make install DESTDIR=/usr/src/packages/BUILD/debian/scriptutils make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/packages/BUILD' make[1]: *** No rule to make target `install'. Stop. make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/packages/BUILD' Does this mean Debian can only handle pristine sources that contain a Makefile? Because there isn't one. Or is this an OBS limitation?
