According to osc help mr when --no-cleanup is added as an option the source packages stay, meaning the default should be cleanup.
at least from standard branch sources, yes. I have added now an explicit option for cleanup in osc.
I have two such cases where the mr was accepted but source projects are still there. They should have been deleted.

yes, that one should be gone by default. However, the last request with that one as source has no cleanup option. So it is a client issue, but I do not see a problem in the code on first spot. Which osc do you use exactly?

I will go ahead and delete these but to me this looks like a bug and before, I go and hit the bugzilla, I prefer if this is something happening overall or am I doing sth awkward
