Excuse me if this is not the correct way of making such a request.
I noticed that there is a repository "sever:monitoring", and I have some packages on my home project (home:netmask) that I think could be interesting to integrate, such as "cacti-cactid" (poller daemon for Cacti) and "kismet" (wireless sniffer). Also, I plan to have "cheops-ng" built some time later.
while i agree that cactid should be in server:monitoring. i dont think that cheops-ng and kismet fit there.
comments?
Yeah. Its a fine line. Maybe network:diagnostic ? I have also put a bunch of netflow and sflow tools into server:monitoring which actually have nothing to do with server monitoring. network:monitoring would be a better fit for them... or network:diagnostic maybe Cheers -- Peter Nixon http://www.peternixon.net/ PGP Key: http://www.peternixon.net/public.asc
