So that solves the problem for my home repository, but what about the 10-15 other repos that our machines depend on? For example, Apache2:Modules, server:monitoring, etc., etc.
So that doesn't seem like a very scalable solution.
Ask them to add it? The point of phasing out repos is to curb unneeded stuff. So, for those projects you depend on, adding the DISCONTINUED repo is like a sign of interest. I agree with earlier posts, it's an imperfect solution, but it's what we have. To attempt a justification as to why older RHEL distros still exist, non-opensuse repos get added with less frequency. Otherwise, it wouldn't be possible to keep them all, just as it isn't possible with opensuse ones. You have to draw a line somewhere. The name change may be a nuisance, but I can't think of a better way to handle it. Otherwise I'd propose it. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org
