Alright. We have been loosely collecting input on wanted features now since a while. I think it is time to organize this a bit more and put together a plan (and finally start implementing it). A wiki page would be a good starting page, I guess.
I've been working on some python scripts to prototype something: http://tmp.vuntz.net/opensuse-packages/ There's not a lot of information right now (only the 3 query links work...) since I didn't have time to write the web frontend, but there's a db with most of the useful data, so it shouldn't be hard to do. I'll keep working on this prototype when I have time, and hopefully this will help us know how we want to display the data. The db is filled with data collected from the autobuild system and with the upstream version of GNOME packages distributed via ftp.gnome.org. Obviously, with the way this prototype is done, this can't be integrated in the build service. But the goal really is to get an idea of how to organize things in a useful way.
