Dear All,
i'm setting up an OBS repository for rnp[1], for which i use the 'osb-service-set_version' service, so i use the openSUSE:Tools repositories, respectively to the distributions a want to build for. The problem is that 'osb-service-set_version' depends on 'python-packaging', however, in the openSUSE:Tools/CentOS_7 or in CentOS7 base repository 'python-packaging' is not available.
I could add it in my own repository (it's available in EPEL, so just have to upload it), but i think it can be (and should be) handled on a higher level, so perhaps adding the 'python-packaging' package to the openSUSE:Tools repo only where it's not in the base repository? How this situation is usually handled?
fixing the package in openSUSE:Tools ;)

I dropped the need for python-packaging now, seems to work. thanks adrian -- Adrian Schroeter email: adrian@suse.de SUSE Linux GmbH, GF: Felix Imendörffer, Jane Smithard, Graham Norton, HRB 21284 (AG Nürnberg) Maxfeldstraße 5 90409 Nürnberg Germany
