I can submit the config fix in comment#23 to fix the "oid exists" error and we can focus on the "conflicting engine id" error for s390x later. Would you be fine with that?

Not really, no. And the reason I say that is if Marcus were to try and set up dehydrated on an s390x system, it *still* wouldn't work for him. Because the errors from comment#24 would cause his command to fail. I think we need to come up with something that will work for Marcus, and our s390x customers.
