[Bug 1101343] New: updater under Xfce stopped working
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1101343 Bug ID: 1101343 Summary: updater under Xfce stopped working Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 15.0 Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Xfce Assignee: bnc-team-xfce@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: wolfgang@rosenauer.org QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created attachment 777043 --> http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/attachment.cgi?id=777043&action=edit screenshot Since I installed Leap 15.0 the update notifier (I guess this is pk-update-icon) was working more or less for me to install updates. Since some time it still shows updates but cannot apply them anymore. It shows a confusing error message where parts say that "no network connection" is available which is plain wrong. Attaching a screenshot. (Btw, this probably has nothing to do with Xfce but I needed a starting point.) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

You can start it from a terminal window with /usr/bin/gpk-update-viewer --verbose maybe this will shed some light on your problem. I'm reassigning this bug to the GNOME component, guessing it is not really a XFCE problem. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
