I opened Konqueror in the first machine and put "fish://secondmachine/path" in the address bar. Then I tried to copy a 8 GB file from this machine to the second one using the standard copy&paste mechanism. The progress stopped at 4 GB. Then I tried to do the same using the "scp" command and it worked.
