http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=964792 Bug ID: 964792 Summary: YaST2 software tool won't mark an installed package as taboo Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: 2015* Hardware: x86-64 OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 Assignee: yast2-maintainers@suse.de Reporter: darren@freemaninstruments.com QA Contact: jsrain@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- In my case, I have a package that keeps getting installed automatically, then I manually uninstall it, then it comes back. I want to uninstall it and mark it as taboo (never install). But presently I have to do this in two steps, first uninstall, then run the tool again, find the package again, mark as taboo. It really should be possible to mark an installed package as taboo also. Perhaps the context menu text would be "taboo (uninstall, then never install)". It's a minor problem, but hopefully also a minor change in the code. I think it's worth doing this. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
