I deleted the old xorg.conf and all sax cache files and ran the second stage of the installation again. -> Result: xorg.conf was broken Then I manually disabled the feature to _not_ write the BusID setting in SaX and again did what I described above. -> Result: xorg.conf is fine and works Sorry to have to say that, but this is the return of bug #427371 .
