Maybe, if it does not interfere with some other devices, somone could add this fix?
The fix is invalid. Because the report descriptor is invalid. You need a special driver similar to hid-holtek-kbd (even though the driver does not look right too). Could you grab the report descriptor? echo '4-1:1.0' > /sys/bus/usb/drivers/usbhid/unbind lsusb -v of that device Change '4-1:1.0' to whatever shows up in dmesg after you plug in the device. IOW the output of lsusb cannot contain "UNAVAILABLE". -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

echo '6-1:1.0' > /sys/bus/usb/drivers/usbhid/unbind
This is OK.
lsusb -v -s 6-1:1.0 Bus 006 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
But this is not. We need an output of lsusb of the mouse, not a hub. Device number in kernel and for lsusb differ. You have to look up it lsusb output and use that instead. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Ouch, could you also unbind interface 1 prior to lsusb? It's "6-1:1.1" in your example above. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Thank You but it didn't work. Mouse is not responding. I've attached lsusb report.
Ok, I need dmesg output, not lsusb. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Kernel 3.8.5 on OS 12.3.
I suppose this is from the distribution kernel? Or from the one I provided? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
